[Steppes] {FIGHTERS} Sword length recommendations?

While many samurai did not have the luxury, whenever possible Japanese swords were made to fit their owners.  The standard was if you were standing straight and holding the sword point down at your side, the tip would clear the ground by two inches.

The wisdom i have always used is if you hold it in the spot there you want
the handle to be then the tip should not touch the ground. I am 6 foor and i
think my sword has around a 36" blade or is over all 36". i cant remember
off the top of my head.
