I wanted to announce that at the Populace in the Park on Oct 30th, we will be having a A&S competition.   The theme will be SCA functional items you have created, no documentation required.  I am looking for things you made to be used and enjoyed.  The belt or pouch, the trim you wove or embroidered on your tunic, heck even the tunic.  I am also including regalia, award ribbons and braids, centurion cloaks, and scrolls.  Wear and tear is not a problem, it will show us that the item is really in use.  
 
The format will be popular bead vote.

Subject: [Steppes] Gulf War Gift

Greetings everyone,

Duncan and I are looking for a volunteer to make a gift for the Gulf War Gift exchange. Every year at Gulf War our Barony provides one gift to donate into our Kingdom's gift basket, which in turn is given to the Kingdom that is assigned to us. We have done many different projects in the past, such as an embroidered quilt, a stained glass window, felted viking hats and many other projects. If you would be interested in making something for the Gulf War Gift exchange please contact me.
