[Archery Marshal]

 Dear Barony of Steppes,

When I moved back from the Western lands of Bonwicke, and landed in the
lush fields of Steppes one of my main goals was to become involved within
the community. So, I did this most wonderful funny thing, and decided to
become the Archery Marshal of Steppes. I am not leaving anytime soon, so
don’t get your hopes up.
 My goal was to find a location for Community of Steppes to hold practice,
so that we could grow within our own community, while contributing our
abilities to the Kingdom of Ansteorra.
When I took on the role of the Archery Marshal I had these ideas that I
would find us a location in no time, and soon we would be practicing in no
time. It soon became clear to me, that my aspirations of grandeur were
equal to putting the cart before the horse. I felt that I had failed, and
that finding a place seemed out of my reach. I searched more, and still
nothing seem to be within my grasp to help the Barony of Steppes. When I
thought all was lost Maggie MacPherson has stepped up, and is offering the
use of her property for Archery practice.
The practice will be on Saturday’s, and will start off once a month. The
practices will be decided based on events that are taking place, and the
availability of warranted marshals.
The site that we have been offered is in Forney, and is a bit of a drive,
but it is worth it. It is open, and we can use crossbows and recurves.
This is a good opportunity offered to us to be able to practice. The best
part it is close, and free!!!!
