[Steppes] A&S Night for January

A&S Night for January will be this Thursday night, Jan 12th, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church 1333 Beltline Road Garland, Texas 75040-3267.
The church is not far from the Bush and Garland Road. The closest cross streets are North Garland and Beltline.
We will not be charged, but it would be nice to have donations to help defray electrical costs to the church. 
We do need to tidy up after ourselves, but that shouldn't be too hard. We have the room from 7 to 9pm+. 

This month we will be learning the wonderfull craft of Nalbinding. Lady Emma will have 13 kits & handouts available. She is requesting a $3 donation to cover the cost of materials. This is the class that she planned to teach at Elfsea Collegium.

The members of the congregation have been very curious about what we do and it is possible some may come see what kinds of things we learn and do.
In the next few months we hope to have classes on silk painting, pattern transfer, beginning card weaving, as well as having the occasional work night. I want to have a class on armor making, more classes on garb design and construction, period design & construction of jewelry. Just need to find teachers. If there is anything you would like to see a class on Please let me know so that we can see what we can do. I will be looking into a second site in Denton that we may be able to use for a second monthly night meeting place.
