[Steppes] Steppes Warlord, your time makes a difference!

[Seneschal of the Steppes]

Greetings to all! We need your assistance for Warlord 40! We are in need of
volunteers in the areas of load out, set up, gate, water bearing, marshal
duties, entourage, break down or load in.

Just 2 hours or even an hour of your time before during or after this event
will help to make this Warlord the best one ever.
If you are not going to warlord maybe you could help with load out on
Thursday or load in on Monday. You don't have to be a weightlifter to help
carry the many items from the shed to the truck. Your are making a
difference.

Site setup is always crucial before any event, and you can make the
difference event if its just putting up one tent pole and driving in one
stake or filling up one water cooler or slicing oranges. Your are making a
difference.

Gate is indoors and I know many of us prefer not to handle the heat. Come
and greet the kingdom at gate by volunteering, stay in the cool of the hall
and look fabulous doing this. You can wear something fabulous, help during
the event, stay cool and look good all at the same time. You are making a
difference.

We all know how important staying hydrated is at warlord. We need
volunteers to help keep the populace away from heat related illnesses. You
do not need to water bear all day just go around the list field twice on
Saturday and twice on Sunday and you have helped to make a difference.

There will be plenty of fighting all weekend long and we need marshals to
ensure that fighters and the populace stay safe. You need not marshal all
day, marshal for one round or when you are not fighting. You are making a
difference.

Our wonderful Baron and Baroness will be hosting this auspicious event and
need your help. Volunteer for entourage and help them make the event just a
little easier. You need not volunteer all day bust just for a short period
of time.

Volunteers are always needed for breakdown and this is especially true with
warlord, if you are on site take 30 minutes and help with breakdown.

I have said a great deal about volunteering for Warlord, but volunteer for
yourself and know that you had a hand in making Steppes Warlord 40 the best
warlord ever.
