[Steppes] A&S night tonight

HEAR YE, HEAR YE!!! Come one, come all to the Barony of The Steppes monthly A&S night.

Where: Gloria Dei Lutheran Church
1333 Beltline RD
Garland 75040
Just east of Garland Rd (parking in the back).

When: Thursday, May 12th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

This meeting we will be doing silk painting. The cost will be $10 each and is limited to 15 people. Because the painting can be messy, please bring an old apron, t-shirt etc. to wear. You will need to bring a design for the painting as that will not be supplied. The silk scarves we will be painting on are 21" x 21" and a rack will be supplied as well as the paint and brushes.

It is very important that you RSVP to me at this time since we only have supplies for 15.

Also, please let me know what kinds of things you want to do at future A&S meetings.

And starting back next month (after Warlord) we're going to have Saturday A&S project days. If there is something you want to do, let us know. Is there something you want to learn? Sewing projects you need help with? Don't have the equipment to do the sewing? We had a wonderful time at our "Spin-In" day, so let's have a repeat of that kind of day.

And finally, Gloria Dei Lutheran Church is very kind to let us use their wonderful facility for our meetings. Let's dig deep in the pocket book and feed the kitty when you come. This goes to help with the electricity bill to cover the lights and wonderful AC that we all crave in the hot times!!! Thank you!!
