[Steppes] Heraldic activites at Steppes Warlord

Steppes Warlord is a wonderful opportunity to be a part of something
special. Watching top tier combatants for several championships is awesome.
And to get one of the best views, acting as a list/field herald is one
great way to do it. These tournaments will be large by nature of their
prestige, and therefore many field heralds will be needed throughout the
day on both Saturday and Sunday. On the job training is available, just
come to the list field.

If the study of names and armory is more your thing, Master Tostig is
sponsoring a consultation table in the hall all day Saturday. Come and
learn or assist all the gentlefolk coming with ideas of names and devices
they'd like to make their own. And if you are one of those good gentles,
this is a prime opportunity to get heraldic advice and guidance from some
of the top heraldic minds in Ansteorra. Please note that this year the
consultation tables will be on the opposite side of the hall as in previous
years, in the Artisan enclave.

A charter painting area will be there this year, also in the Artisan
enclave. The Kingdom is always in need of painted award charters.
Instruction in illumination techniques will be available, so don't be shy.
Supplies are provided, or you can bring your own.

There are so many opportunities to serve the barony and kingdom as heralds.
Please consider stepping in and helping to make this a glorious weekend for
all of these martial and scholarly activities.
