Both sound good to me. Hopefully a monthly craft and social night would also give us something more to interest newcomers in as well as give the shire a forum to expand areas of interest and instruction. Much as I enjoy fighting, there's not to many people showing up to hang out at fighter practice and doesn't seem to be much exchange outside of populous.
Also a just plan get together and hang out night sounds fun for just plan relaxing.
