Greetings Gentle Folk of Ansteorra,

I wish to express my gratitude for all of fifty-four of you fine
gentles who came and made my first attempt at autocrating such a
pleasant experience.

Winner of the Chivalric Tourney and Trelac's Defender is Lord Chiang
Ti Lung from the Barony of Bonwicke.
Winner of the Rapier Tourney and Trelac's Rapier Champion is Baron
Theodric Afhaims from the Shire of Tempio
Winner of the A&S Competition and Trelac's Artesian is Mistess Martha
de Blenkensop from the Shire of Trelac
Winner of the Bardic Competition and Trelac's Bard is Lord Derric

You who did not come really missed a fun time.  Cad sponsored a
"Rooftop" tourney that was won by Johhan Hammerhound. Have you ever
fought over two rooftops that had holes that appeared for you to fall
through? Sometimes even engulfing you as you fought?  And Gavin
sponsored a fun tourney  where two ladies who were new to the SCA
chose the armament that the first two contestants were to fight with.
You know, it's kinda hard to swing a sword when you have a mace tied
to your wrist. Especially if you are used to a heater and you are
handed Cadwallader's big shield to contend with. Lady Ryah won that
fight and then I had to face her with just a mace in my left hand.
She clobbered me <gr>.
