Dear folks 

I decided to use Isolde information in painting my wall hanging. She told
me that the standard of ancient Persia, adopted by Cyrus, according to 
Herodotus, and Xenopho, was a golden eagle with outstretched wing painted
on a white flag. My persona is all ready familiar with Herodotus. Of
course, the Duke said it wasn't heraldically correct. Thank you for your
help.
