Greetings

Lady Elewys here. I must step down as SCA coordinator for the
CeltFesTexas event held in Odessa each spring.

I've had to take on a second job, and therefore haven't been able to make
any of the CeltFest meetings since the last Fest. Also, it'll be
difficult for me to take off the weekend of the Fest (April 12-13, BTW),
since I now work weekend evenings. So, is anyone out there willing to
take over?

The Illuminated Threads Guild will continue to handle its part presenting
textile examples and teaching classes. Whoever wants to take over the SCA
part just needs to coordinate fighting demo/tourney/whatever. My part
consisted of attending meetings (monthly in Odessa, bi-weekly as the Fest
get closer). Then, for the Fest, I hauled tables, pavilions, list field,
etc., helped in Fest set up and take down, and helped wherever else
needed. It's a bit of hard work, but rewarding.

The CeltFest group are a wonderful bunch of folks. They're among the
hardest working people I've ever been around. They love what we've done
for them in the last 3 years. The whack-a-knight-with-a-boffer last year
went over really, really well.

Any takers?

Please contact me off list if you're interested or need more info.

Thanks!

Lady Elewys
