Greetings to the People of Wiesenfeuer!

Your current Baronesses, Valia of the Mists and Deirdre Ni' Raghailligh,
have announced their intention to step down during the next Wiesenfeuer
Baronial. After consulting with them, your Seneschal, and their Highnesses,
they have agreed to mt prepared schedule. This is tight, aggressive
schedule with Gulf Wars right in the center that allows time for the new
landed nobility to prepare for their investiture.

• Thursday, January 23 (one and a half months before the polling): A
digital mailing list and social media post is released to discuss the
polling process and encourage candidates to submit letters of intent.
• Thursday, February 06 (two weeks later): This is the deadline to declare
baronial candidate status—no new entrants are allowed after this date.
Final letters of intent by baronial candidates are due to the Crown and
Heirs by email.
• Monday, February 10 (within 5 days): The final opinion poll form with
candidate names is posted to the baronial website. Brief, single-page
candidate letters with full contact information are also posted to the
website.
• Saturday, February 15. All baronial candidates meet one-on-one with the
Crown and Heirs at Mooneschadowe - Provincial Games (February 15).
• Thursday, February 20: The Special edition of the baronial newsletter,
The Flamebearer is published. It includes the final opinion poll form with
the names and candidate letters of the baronial candidates, the same as
found on the baronial website. The newsletter must be in everyone’s hands
at least one week before the official polling. This newsletter will be
cross posted online to maximize distribution.
• Monday, February 24 (one week before the polling): Have you sent an email
to the Crown with your commentary about the baronial candidates? If not, do
so right away.
• Monday, March 2: The Big Day. Polling occurs during the regular populace
meeting, 7:30pm at Ingrid's, 3701 N Youngs Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73112.
The Regional Seneschal will be there to conduct the polling.
• Monday, March 9 (one week later): All absentee opinion polls are due by
email to the Kingdom Seneschal. All email with commentary about the
baronial candidates is due to the Crown and Heirs.
• Monday, March 30 (Three weeks before Baronial): The Crown announce their
final decision. This is to allow them enough time to read each and every
one of the opinion poll forms and commentary emails.
• Saturday, April 18 (Wiesenfeuer Baronial): Their Majesties officially
invest the new Landed Nobility. This is a big occasion and the populace is
urged to attend to lend their support to their new Landed Nobility.

Now for the fine print: This schedule is subject to change at the will of
the Crown. Each candidate is responsible for ensuring that they meet the
application deadlines and requirements. All the general populace is tasked
with keeping themselves informed of the process and providing constructive
input to the crown. I will try to post a few days before each deadline to
help serve as reminders.

Let me know if you have any questions or concerns during this transition.

Charles the Grey of Mooneschadowe
Northern Seneschal
