Come greetings from Master Michael Silverhands, your Kingdom Chronicler:

Thank you all for your wonderful support of the Black Star and your Kingdom.
The William Blackfox Memorial silent auctions have gone far to closing the gap
between the Black Star's costs and its stipend. Special thanks to Baroness Sigen
Fridriksdottir, Lady Northkeep, whose efforts have made these auctions a success.

I assumed this office on very short notice, and was too slow to gear up for
publication. As a result, the May issue is very late. Please accept my profound
apologies to all of you for any inconvenience this may have caused you. I owe my
heartfelt gratitude to Lord Stephen von Drachenfels, without whose help that issue
might not have gotten out at all.

I had previously announced in these boards that I would hold this office until
Coronation in July, and accept applications for it through the end of June (next
month). Due to life circumstances, I must advance that date. You may apply for
this office through the end of May (this month), with a decision to be made by
the Society Chronicler and our Crown in early June. If you are serious about
this position, get your applications in to me at this address:
