Greetings All,
I want to extend thank you's for all who attended Eldern this last weekend.  Congratulations to the Barony's new champions.  HE Thorigrim won the heavy list in a wonderful display of weapons styles and the honor he always fights with.  Don Donavon won the rapier list with a flurry of sword.  Don Hawkins won the schlager list with with humor and skill.  Thank you to all the fighters who enterd the lists this weekend.  I saw many grand and memorable displays of skill and chivalry.  I and Eldern look forward to a year with these champions knowing that we are well gaurded.  Know that you are welcome to our hearts and hearth as well.
I also want to congratulate the winners of the Arts and Sciences competion.  Lady Faelin won the advanced and Lord Rory won the novice.  Thank you to everyone who entered.
Thank you to HE Sigen for running the Blackfox auction.  It was another one well done with many fine items to bid on.
I hear that everyone went away from feast happy and full.  Thank you to Lady Valerie and Lady Elayne for a job well done.
I also want to thank Ranger Rick.  He rapidly works on anything that may need fixing.  He is a fun person to have at the feast and rapidly participated in the food fight.
Thank you to the autocrats, Lord Michael and Lord Rory.  You did a wonderful job running the event, and the correct dance for the weather.
Thank you Your Highness's for joing us.  Your presence was appreciated and enjoyed.
Fond (temporary) farewell to Her Majesty Caid and Master Riordan.  You are a part of the Eldern family and in our hearts.
Lastly, I want to thank the populace of Eldern Hills.  I saw so many of you working your butts off and having fun doing it.  Without you, the event wouldn't have taken place, nor ran as well as it did.  From the littlest thing done, to the hard physical labor that needs to occur, you were there and made it happen.  It is because of you that I love this Barony so much and am honored to be the Baroness.

My thanks to all those that made Eldern XXIII such a fun event. To those many that told me they enjoyed our event, I say all that were there, working or playing or both contributed greatly to the aura of fun had by all. The spirit of "family" is what drew me to this game game we play, and that spirit was greatly shown to me by the willing help given to bring this event off.

Thank you to Their Royal Highnesses Duncan and Larissa, for their dedication to travel and support of the "ambiance" of our game.

Special thanks to the "fortune" that has allowed HRM CiarLasse of Caid and Master Riordan to join both in our play and in our hearts.

Thank you seems so little to say to all those whose efforts and love made Eldern XXIII the special moment that it was, but for now it is all that I have.
