[Ansteorra-announce] Bjornsborg Silver Anniversary

Greetings to each and everyone in this beloved Kingdom!

    The Barony of Bjornsborg extends this invitation to the populace of
Ansteorra to join us as we celebrate our 25th baronial anniversary and
the search for "Heroes".  Know that this joyous occasion is to be held
on the 19th through the 21st day of October.  It would be a pleasure to
welcome you to our beloved homeland, to brush the journey's dust from
your shoulders, quench your thirst with ample refreshment and set a
place for you at hospitality's table.

     This is a time of celebration, for it was twenty five years ago
that the first brave explorers came to this land and planted the banner
of Bjornsborg.  In that quarter of a century, our Barony has been the
home of kings and queens, valiant warriors, beautiful ladies, talented
artisans and those dedicated in service to others.  The passing years,
like the passing seasons, have blessed our people.  Therefore, it seems
only fitting that in this harvest month of October, we pause and reflect

upon the bounty bestowed us.  We would be grateful if you shared this
silver anniversary with us.

     In addition, we gather to renew one of our most cherished
traditions.  While Bjornsborg is indeed the Barony of the Argent Bear,
it is also the Land of Lions; a land where the whispered spirit of
Lyonesse can still be heard.  It is a place where heroes have walked.
In every country, in every time, there have been men and women who have
heard the trumpet's call and with courage and conviction, rose to meet
the challenge, rose to make the sacrifice.  In so doing, their deeds and

actions transformed the ordinary into the extraordinary. When asked why
these individuals did so, Master Ragnar Ulfgarsson touched us all with
his response, "Because that's what Heroes do!"

     The trumpet sounds!  Gallant warriors, skilled artisans, generous
providers of service, and those embodying the time-honored spirit of
valor, are all bid journey to Bjornsborg.  We invite you to add your
name to the pages of legend.  We invite you to walk in the footsteps of
Heroes!

    As Baron and Baroness of these bountiful lands, Brianna and I would
be honored by your presence.  We join each and every member of the
Barony in extending this heartfelt invitation.
