I knew this one was going to 'bite' me, and it did. So, there you have it.
Although Meridies does not require a NON-COMBATANT AUTHORIZATION CARD in
order to be a Waterbearer Volunteer at Gulf Wars.... ANSTEORRA **DOES
REQUIRE** A NON-COMBATANT AUTHORIZATION CARD TO WATERBEAR IF YOU PLAN TO GO
ONTO THE BATTLE/LIST FIELD, REGARDLESS OF THE KINGDOM!!!

A Non-combatant card is not a hard thing to get, just check with your local
Marshal for a card (same card as the fighters, just check the non-combatant
box). The most important rule for being a waterbearer on the field, is to
never, Never, NEVER (got that!) go onto the battle or list field, unless a
MARSHAL calls you to it. And when the Marshals call you off, leave!, even
if it means you leave the waterbottles out there with the fighters. You do
not want to be a casualty of the battle.

You must have a non-combatant authorization card to Waterbear BEFORE you
get to Gulf Wars, as they will not be handing them out on site. Your card
is good for 4 years! You are only required to have the card IF you are
going out onto the list or battle field. If you remain on the sidelines or
at the waterbearer station, the card is not required, though it's still
preferred.

Youths and teen may also Waterbear, AND get counted for Volunteer Points,
AND do not require a non-combatant card...as they are under 18yrs, and are
not permitted on the list or battle field anyway.

Sorry about that, and get those non-combat cards!
