[Ansteorra-announce] Volunteers at GW - Raffle Prize

Greetings to all the Volunteers for Gulf Wars
As mentioned earlier, there is a minor change to the way the Raffle tickets
will be claimed for prizes this year, in the effort to save everyone some
time.

Again, as you turn in your volunteer 'chits', and receive raffle tickets,
you will put one half of the ticket in the kingdom bucket for the Gulf War
Volunteer War Point, either to go to ANSTEORRA or trimaris  (please note
emphasis!)   And save the other half for the Raffle Ticket Prize drawing.

On Saturday, after the Grand Court in front of the fort,  the Volunteer
will claim their prizes if they have the drawn raffle tickets.   But,
unlike years past, the prizes will be laid out in 'Bede Hall' (the building
on the tennis courts) where the tickets will have been pre-drawn (by a
staff of non-partial ticket drawers) and you may wander through the hall to
find any matches to your tickets.     In the event prizes are not claimed
before a specified time, then a second ticket will be drawn for that item.

This new method is being done this year, in an effort to save time, as in
prior years, the raffle ticket drawing has run over 3 hours.  While there
may be a few kinks to work out on this new way, lets hope it saves us all
some valuable party-time.
