Greetings from Baroness Ariella d'Aille.

Once again I am overwhelmed by the talent and diversity of our artisans.
We took both of the A&S points at Gulf Wars (again!).
Special recognition goes to the following artisans:

Kayleigh Drake received a perfect 20 for her "Period Dining Room".
Pendaran Glamorgan received a 19 for his performance from "Richard III" as
well as a 19 for his static entry, a collection of sonnets.
Ari Uisnigh received a 19 for her illuminated manuscript page.
Ihon Vincent mac Fergus received a 19 for his performance of John Skelton's
poem, "Upon a Dead Man's Head."
Eule von Haginbald and I received a 19 for our 16th Century Man's Suit.
Eleanor Fairchild received a 19 for her performance of the poem, "The
Nightingale."
Sigerith d'Aiencort received an 18 for his Sugar Plate Playing Cards, as
well as being chosen by the Queen of Aethelmark as her personal favorite in
the Grand Melees.
Juanna Ines Balzon received an 18 for her perfumes.
Niccola Setaro received an 18 for her research paper, "Sweet Feaste: The
English Banquet Course."

Special mention also goes to Maximillian Racheengel for the Sutton Hoo Helm
entered in the Grand Melee.

Congratulations to all artisans, and thank you for your participation.
Thank you also to all the artisans who entered the Grand Melee and all the
members of the Populace who took the time to come vote for their favorite.

A special thanks to Eule, Jovian, Zacharia, Sigerith and others who helped
create a performing space on the Tennis Court when plans changed. Thanks
also to Alfred Huddlestone and Alexandria Doyle for keeping the Laurels
full and happy on Friday.

I encourage every artisan in our fair Kingdom to prepare for next year.
The format will be the same, with a Champion's Battle for both performers
and static entries as well as a Grand Melee. There will again be a
competition to choose the Champions in February, probably at Candlemas.
Please watch the Ansteorran web page for details.
