[Ansteorra-announce] Children's activities at Stargate 30th Baronial

Greetings,
We have a large number of activities for the children planned for Stargate's
30th year Baronial event, hosted by the Canton of Westgate.

**For the younger set (less than 5 years):
10-12 - a cape and cap making activity, wading pool, stories and snacks.

** For the Children (age 5 and up):
(parents are requested to volunteer one hour per child to assist)
10-1  Banner making, waterballoon wars with a wooden castle, storytelling
and necklace beading.
1-2   lunch break
2-4   Circle dances, waterbearing demo and watergun wars, boat-gutter duels
and tug-o-war with the King.


**Stargate Children's Champion
Stargate's Children's Champion will be selected by a secret panel of judges,
from among those active throughout the day at the children's pavilion.
Qualities considered will be courtesy and chivalry with their playmates, and
participation and skill in the activities.  The Champion will be announced
in evening court.
