Greetings Ansteorra!

Mooneschadowe would like to invite everyone in Ansteorra (as well as
neighboring kingdoms!) to Ansteorra’s Kingdom Arts & Sciences competition!
Would you like to compete against the best that the kingdom has to offer in
period foods, armoring, performances, calligraphy & illumination, fiber
arts, research, woodworking, leatherworking, or anything else you can think
of? This is your chance! You too can strive to be one of the few, the
chosen few, to enter in the Arts & Sciences competition at Gulf Wars and
bring home another war point for our mighty kingdom!

Even if you don’t want to compete, and would just like to look at all the
different projects people have worked on, or maybe do a little melee
fighting on the chivalric, rapier, or combat archery fields, this is your
chance! If none of that sounds appealing, but you would like to spend the
weekend with your friends socializing in a heated hall, dancing to live
musicians, eating a wonderful feast, and helping to raise money for the Arts
& Sciences in the kingdom and the Gulf War gate, this is your chance! Would
you like to try your hand at target archery, and compete in the Royal
Huntsman tournament? This is your chance!

That’s right! KASMAT has something to offer everyone! A&S, fighting,
dancing, socializing, archery, feasting, fun, horses and hounds. None of
that sound interesting? How about heraldic consultation, a European
dancer’s meeting, a charter painting table, silent auction, bake sale, or a
soup kitchen? Surely there will be something at KASMAT to interest you,
come on up and find out!

KASMAT is being hosted by the Shire of Mooneschadowe, in Stillwater, OK on
January 30 to February 1, 2004. The site is the Payne County Expo Center,
three minutes from downtown Stillwater on Highway 51. For the brave and
hearty, there is camping available on site, but for everyone else there are
plenty of hotels or people in the shire willing to open their homes for
crash space. Centurion Jean Paul de Sens and Sir Asoph Hearts will be
cooking a scrumptious feast for those who so desire. For more information,
please visit our website HYPERLINK

updated, so check back often!
