This year, the Barony of Elfsea is proud to bring you "Remnant Wars".
Teams of four (No more than one Laurel and one Iris on each team) will
compete to create a complete ensemble in 4 hours!

A theme will be announced the day of the event, and the teams should
strive to include the theme in their finished outfit (some theme
examples are: black and gold, hats, or gloves.)

The Allowed Materials List is included at the end of this message. This
list is the items each team is allowed to bring not required to bring.
No item on the list should be construed as in any way indicative of the
theme - the list was made prior to the theme decision. We reserve the
right to spot-check what items a team brings. The Common Area will
include: an ironing station, tables, chairs, as well as the Scrap Yard.
It will be filled with goodies including fabric, accessories, notions
and anything else we can get donated. His Travesty Seamus will be
presiding over our Yard filled with the good, the bad and the ugly. Your
team will have to work fast to get the pick of the fabric and goodies to
create your ensemble!

Points will be awarded based on creativity, quality of construction and
use of the theme. This contest will be judged by the sponsors (Lady
Rixende de Rouen, Dama Anezka z Rozmitala and Lady Genevieve de
Lironcourt) and other celebrity judges as chosen. ALL completed outfits
will be donated to the Elfsea Loaner Garb.

While an RSVP to compete in the Remnant Wars is not necessary, it will
make it easier for the event staff to allocate space for all the teams
competing. Please email Lady Rixende at rixende at yahoo.com if you intend
to compete. Please include the name of your team and
it's members. If there are any questions or glaring omissions in either
Common Supplies or Allowed Materials, please email Lady Rixende as well.

In Service,
Dama Anezka z Rozmitala
