[Ansteorra-announce] RE: Coronation - Heraldic Consultation Table Update

Howdy All again,

Since sending the original announcement for the heraldic consultation tables at coronation, I have learned that they will be taking subscriptions to the 'Ansteorran Gazette'. This is the main publication of the College of Heralds in Ansteorra which includes the items submitted for commentary, comments on previous submissions, what has been accepted and sent on to the Laurel Sovereign of Arms or returned for further work. Also, you will find updates on open offices in the College of Heralds, times and locations of Decision meetings for our submissions, and at times articles on heraldry and adverts on other heraldic activities. The cost is only $12 a year to have it delivered to your door.

On the point of 'Other Heraldic Activities', I have heard that there has so far not been a bid for the third annual Ansteorran Heraldic and Scribal Syposium [It has been a couple of weeks since last hearing this, so please correct me if I am mistaken]. The first was held in the Central Region and the second in the Northern region. Is there no one in the Coastal,  Southern, or Western regions who is willing to host this event for the education and enjoyment of the populace of Ansteorra? The event is an indoor event held in July and August so far. This gives 7-8 months to find a site, gather teachers, and show the rest of Ansteorra how an event can really be done.
