It is with a heavy heart that I must relay ill news
unto you in regards to the Feast at Stargate Yule.

I have just received word from the supplier of some of
the goods for the Feast.  It seems that the pigs
destined for the Feast broke out of their pens.  There
is some rumor that this was done intentionally by
parties unknown from points east, but no proof.  The
pigs have been rounded up, but not before they ran
wild into the forest and ate fungus that rendered them
unsuitable for the table.  Not only did they eat the
fungus in the forest, but they also got into the
mushrooms intended for the Feast.  

I am endeavoring to obtain replacements, but at this
late date, hopes are dim.
