Unto the Good Gentles of Ansteorra:

Only 4 days until YOUTH ACADEMY II.  This event is focused on the youth and 
youth activities. It will be held on April 24, 2004. There will be both 
classroom learning as well as hands on activities. Classes will include: A&S 
for youth, bardic, making armor and weapons,  classes on chivalry, 
authorizing classes for the children in chivalric and rapier as well marshal 
classes for adults, and youth archery. For more information please visit our

REMINDER: For the making weapons class please bring your own supplies and 
tools. For a list of the needed supplies please review the youth combat 
section in the Complete Participants Handbook.

Site fee will be $5.00 for adults; children/youth 6-17 $2.00; children 5 and 
under free. Family max is $20.00. Site is dry and. Site opens at 7AM and 
closes at 8:30 PM. Site is located in Lexington City Park.

Directions: Take best route to Lexington which is located between Rockdale 
and Giddings on Hwy 77.  The park is on Hwy 77 near the northern city 
limits. It is on the right if coming from Rockdale and on the left if coming 
from Giddings. Signs will be posted. Site has playscapes for younger 
children.

Your choice of  hamburgers or hot dogs with chips and soda will be available 
for an additional fee at the tavern for lunch.

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. They may also 
attend with an adult 21 and over with a signed and notarized Minor Event 
Waiver form from the parents. Guardian waivers are REQUIRED and are 
available online at www.ansteorra.org.

Overnight lodging may be found in Rockdale (18 miles north of the site) or 
Giddings (18 miles south of the site).
