[Ansteorra-announce] Highland Games III Shire of Ffynnon Gath

Greetings unto the Populace of Ansteorra!

The weekend of September 10-12 is approaching and the Shire of Ffynnon Gath 
will be hosting our third annual Highland Games.

Need more fighting?

There will be plenty of fighting for everyone:  a Sheep Tourney, Ogre Ball, 
an Assassins Tourney, and Youth Combat.   In addition, there will be 
traditional Highland Games, a Celtic-themed A&S Competition, a Silent 
Auction, Fire Dancing & Drumming and other activities.   Rhoadd will sponsor 
a Championship Bearpit Wrestling and the Amazon Household will sponsor the 
Men-In-Kilts contest.  The Saracen Blade Tavern will have food, drinks and 
fun available.  There will be no feast.

Site Fee is $10.00, Children (12 and under) $5.00, $30.00 Family Cap. Make 
checks payable to SCA Inc./Shire of Ffynnon Gath.
Site opens 5pm Friday, closes 12pm Sunday.

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.   They may also 
attend with a 21-year or older adult with a signed and notarized Minor Event 
Waiver Form from the parents.
Site is located on the Guadalupe River at Nolte Island Park in Seguin, TX. 
Site has electricity, running water, a large covered pavillion and flush 
privies.
No pets are allowed on site.
Site is WET, please use period containers.
Merchants are encouraged and welcomed.
