[Ansteorra-announce] Elfsea Defender this weekend

Their Excellencies, Armand Dragonetti and Ameline duBois, the Baron and
Baroness of Elfsea, do hereby invite one and all to join them for the
26th Elfsea Defender, this weekend, Sept. 24-26 at the Canton first
Monday Campgrounds.
In honor of Their Stellar Majesties,  Quintus Aurelius Dracontius
and Sibri de Aldebourne, the event will have a Roman theme. Roman dress
is encouraged. 
There will be both a Pelican's and a Laurel's circle.
The main activities for this event are, of course, the Defender title
competitions. There will be competitions for Chivalric, Rapier, Archery
and Elfsea's newest Defender title, Equestrian. 
Children's activities will include Youth Boffer, Youth Rapier, Youth
Archery, Youth Bardic as well as, other youth activities for the smaller
children.
There will also be an Arts and Science competition as well as a Bardic
competition for those of you with interests in these areas.
There will be a special competition, sponsored by the Chirurgeonate &
Water Bearers Guild, The Iron Siege Cook-off! This proves to be a tasty
competition.
A Feast will be held Saturday evening. The feast will be prepared by
Lord Caius. This will be a candlelight feast. Bring lots of candles!
