We are looking forward to hosting the first ever Equestrian College
this weekend near Austin, Texas! The forecast is for beautiful weather,
and the classes promise to be exciting, so please come join us!

The College is not just for people who ride - if you've always wanted
to know more about horses, now is your opportunity! Bring the kids -
there's plenty for them to do, including a special Shrek Stick Horse
Quest. And if horses aren't really your thing that's OK too - bring
your armor for pick-ups, because we have reserved covered space for
both chivalric and rapier fighters.

More information, directions, and class descriptions can be found at
the Equestrian College website, eqcollege.swordworks.org. Site opens at
3pm on Friday, and closes at 3pm on Sunday. Classes will run from 9-5
on Saturday, and there is a trail ride Sunday morning for Intermediate
and Advanced authorized riders. Horses require proof of negative
Coggins, no other animals allowed except service animals. Site fee is
$9 for adults, $8 for children 13-17, $4 for children 5-12, $26 family
max. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

We look forward to seeing you!

-Bridget Rede of Dunvegan, event co-steward
