I know many want to help.  An easy way is to work through your local Red Cross.  In addition, many local TV stations will be doing fund-raising telethons as well as Clothing and Food Drives.

If you donate funds, I urge you to do so to an organization like Red Cross.  There will be many many scamers out there.  Be careful.
