Greetings:
This is the President's report of the actions taken at the SCA, Inc.'s
most recent Board of Directors conference call meeting, held December
6, 2005. This material may be freely distributed, and those receiving
it are strongly encouraged to share this information with the general
membership. Permission is hereby granted to reprint all or part of
this report in Kingdom, Principality, and local newsletters. It is
requested that the source of the information be identified as "from
the President's Report of the December 2005 Board Conference Call
meeting" and that, as far as possible, exact quotes be used. Please
note that this report is NOT the official Minutes of the Board
conference call meeting. In case of any discrepancy between this
document and the approved Minutes, the Minutes are binding. Any
inaccuracies in reporting contained herein are my own.

subscription includes this report in addition to the Minutes approved

The next Board of Directors Quarterly meeting will be held on January
21, 2006, in Atlanta, Georgia, in the Kingdom of Meridies. The
deadline for submission of agenda items is January 1, 2006.

Executive (Limited) Session
II Executive Session
Letitia Wilde - Appeal of Degradation from the Peerage
Motion by Tom Hughes to deny the appeal of degradation from the
Peerage of Letitia Wilde following the sanctions imposed upon her at
the July 2005 Board of Directors meeting. Seconded by Dena Cady. In
favor: Jeff Brown, Dena Cady, Tom Hughes, Shawn Reed, Gabrielle
Underwood. Opposed: none. Recused: Heather English. Chairman
Williams exercised his option to vote and did so in favor of the
motion. Motion carried.
Pamela McDermott - Banishment from the Realm
Motion by Shawn Reed to uphold the banishment from the Realm of Pamela
McDermott (Roberta McMoreland) imposed by Malcolm and Tessa, King and
Queen of Aethelmearc, on July 23, 2005. Seconded by Gabrielle
Underwood. In favor: Jeff Brown, Dena Cady, Heather English, Tom
Hughes, Shawn Reed, Gabrielle Underwood. Opposed: none. Motion
carried.
Steven Cowley - Revocation and Denial of Membership
Motion by Gabrielle Underwood to revoke and deny the membership of
Steven Cowley (Steffan the Close) of the Kingdom of Atenveldt
effective December 6, 2005. Seconded by Jeff Brown. In favor: Jeff
Brown, Heather English, Tom Hughes, Shawn Reed, Gabrielle Underwood.
Opposed: none. Recused: Dena Cady. Motion carried.
At 8:42 p.m. CST Director Jeff Brown left the call due to technical
difficulties.
A. Confirmation of Lisa Mohr as Laurel Sovereign of Arms
Motion by Gabrielle Underwood to confirm the appointment of Lisa Mohr
(Elisabeth de Rossignol) to the position of Laurel Sovereign of Arms
for the remainder of the standard term. Seconded by Shawn Reed. In
favor: Dena Cady, Heather English, Tom Hughes, Shawn Reed, Gabrielle
Underwood. Opposed: none. Motion carried.
At 8:49 p.m. CST Director Jeff Brown re joined the call.
B. Confirmation of Tim Jennings as Society Arts and Sciences
Minister
Motion by Gabrielle Underwood to confirm Tim Jennings (Garraed
Galbraith) to the position of Society Arts and Sciences Minister for
the remainder of the standard term. Seconded by Heather English. In
favor: Jeff Brown, Dena Cady, Heather English, Tom Hughes, Shawn Reed,
Gabrielle Underwood. Opposed: none. Motion carried
Confirmation of Director Shawn Reed
At this point Director Shawn Reed, President Linda Moore, Society
Seneschal George Reed, and Vice President of Corporate Operations
Renee Signorotti left the call.
Motion by Tom Hughes to confirm Shawn Reed to seat G on the Board of
Directors for the remainder of the standard term. Seconded by
Gabrielle Underwood. In favor: Jeff Brown, Dena Cady, Heather
English, Tom Hughes, Gabrielle Underwood. Opposed: none. Motion
carried.
