Recently, the Board requested commentary from the SCA’s membership 
regarding a new proposed section of the Governing Documents. This 
proposal provides for the temporary suspension of participation 
privileges at events in extreme cases.

The Board has received a large volume of commentary, both positive and 
negative. For those who had concerns, the bulk seems to center around 
the potential for abuse of the temporary suspension. Several 
respondents offered valuable suggestions that will prove very useful 
in improving the proposed change.

We thank everyone who has already shared their thoughts with us, and 
encourage those who have yet to send us their constructive input to

deadline for commentary is July 1, 2006.
