Come, all bards throughout the land, and compete to become the Titled Bard
of Loch Ruadh at Lughnasad, August 11-13 at the First Monday Trade Days
site in Canton, Texas.

Regalia!
Word fame!
Riches and honor await the bard who dons the red and sable cloak!

The Competition:

Four pieces, bard’s choice of style (song, poem, tale), with a possible
fifth piece if a tie-breaker is necessary.

One piece to be performed for the current Titled Bard.

One piece to be performed for a panel of judges at Bard Town.

The finalists will be selected by consultation between the Titled Bard and
the panel of judges.

Finalists will perform two pieces at Bard Town for the Titled Bard and the
panel of judges. In the event of a tie, those bards involved will be asked
to perform a final piece in a bard-off.
