[Ansteorra-announce] The Group Websites on the Ansteorra server

Good Morning Ansteorra!

All websites that once resided on the old servers run out of Pug's home have 
now been moved over to the new service.

It was a Herculean effort. Two of our main support staff of 7 that run the 
servers were moving into new homes and closing on their old homes. Two 
others were dealing with major family issues. One was undertaking major 
medical certification test preparation. And the rest of the staff were 
buried under heavy real world work loads.

I do not think I have had a prouder moment than this. A full staff, totally 
overwhelmed with real life, stepped up and moved decades worth of work from 
one location to the next. There are still a few bumps to completely smooth 
over the experience but in the end we handled it.

If you are a vscribe for a Kingdom Officer or a local group and you have not 
had your FTP notification sent to you or your email server decided it was 
spam and deleted it please email me privately so that I can get you on your 
way to reassessing your sites and begin updating them.

The final piece of the move is on its way with the mailing list. Be patient 
if you are missing mail or you do not see your mail, (especially if you use 
gmail, you may not see your mail posting but it is). More on that later.

Also please be aware that there is a new Society Chronicler Handbook out and 
that you need to go grab it and be familiar with it as part of your position 
of Vscribe. http://www.sca.org/officers/chronicler/ChronPolicy.pdf (Section 
D, pages 20 and 21).

I also see from the warrant list that some of your membership's are coming 
due soon. Please send me your new membership expiration dates and proof of 
membership as soon as you have reupped it.
