Unto the great populace of Ansteorra do Baroness Isabeau and Lady Cristyana,
event stewards of King's College, send greetings



Their Stellar Majesties Romanius and Deanna and the Barony of Stargate
invite you to a day of scholarship, learning and camaraderie at King's
College on June 8-10, 2007 at Camp Camwood in Hockley, TX.   Additionally,
Their Royal Highnesses, Ulsted and Ebergardis, invite all to the Royal
Huntsman Tournament.  Mark you calendar and join us for a day of
enlightment.



The Muses of Arts and Sciences have inspired many wonderful classes to
include but limited to the following areas:   combat arts, archery,
equestrian arts, the art if siege weapons, textile dying, outdoor cooking
and baking, fireside bardic, field heraldry, metal working, woodworking,
blacksmithing, basket weaving, pottery throwing and printing as well as
traditional King's College fine arts classes such as costuming, fiber arts
and performance arts to name a few.   Please check the online schedule
through the King's College website (http://sca.clancircle.com ) for a list
of classes and schedule.



We'll be offering you cooling Roman pools and misting temples around the
site to cool the body as minds race.   THERE IS A SLIGHT MODIFICATION TO THE
DIRECTIONS IN THE JUNE BLACK STAR AS FOLLOWS:  The best route from north of
Houston is I-45 to FM 2920.   The map in the June Black Star has Nichols
Sawmill connecting to FM 1488 directly.  Nichols Sawmill connects to FM 1488
byway of FM 1774 at Magnolia, TX (see http://tinyurl.com/3xlvfs* *to get
driving directions).  Hotel information is listed on the website and for
those who are more adventurous there is camping available.  A sideboard
lunch prepared by HE Isabeau and HL Mea of cold delicacies is included in
your site fee.   REMEMBER: to bring a chair as there will be a limited
number available.  Also, there is a potluck dinner hosted by Mistress
Gwyenth Blackrose that evening before the bardic circle.



So come join us for what is sure to be a day of great learning and most
importantly fun.
