 The Shire of Ffynnon Gath Invites You To:
 
Equestrian War College
 
February 26-28th  2010 
 
 
Come, one and all, and enjoy a weekend of fun, practice, and war as we prepare to join our friends in battle at the upcoming Gulf Wars. This may very well be your last chance to get your needed authorizations before Gulf Wars. We have a fun filled weekend planned with activities including:
 
·          The Bordermarch Equestrian Championship Tournament
·          War Melees for Equestrian, Heavy armored, Rapier, and Archery
·          Informal classes for Equestrian, Heavy weapons, and Mounted/Unmounted Archery
 
We do not have formal feast at this event, but we are hosting a Pot-Luck dinner on Saturday night. The Shire will provide the meat dish and participants are asked to bring a side dish or dessert to serve 8-10 people. Kitchen space and utilities will be available to all. 
 
The site is semi-primitive with ample campgrounds, running water, and limited electricity. Horse stall space is also available. Please RSVP the Autocrat if you require stall space. 
 
Directions to 8120FM20, Seguin, TX 78155:
From all points North: Make your best route to the Highway 123 Exit on IH35 (Exit 204A) in San Marcos, TX. Go South on 123 towards Seguin. Travel ~13 miles and take a left onto FM2623 just before reaching Geronimo, TX. FM2623 dead-ends into FM20. Take a left and look for SCA signs and the entrance about 300 yards from this intersection.
 
From all points South: Make your best route to the Highway 123 Exit on IH10 (Exit 610) in Seguin, TX. Go North on 123 towards San Marcos for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn right on FM20 and travel about 7 miles. Roughly 300 yards past the FM2623 intersection you will see the entrance to the site. Watch for SCA signs.
 Site Fee is $5.00, Children (12 and under) Free, $15.00 Family Cap.  A $3.00 non-member surcharge applies to anyone without proof of membership.  Make checks payable to SCA Inc., Shire of Ffynnon Gath.  Site opens 5pm Friday, closes 12pm Sunday.   Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  They may also attend with a 21-year or older adult with a signed and notarized Minor Event Waiver Form from the parents.  Site is WET, please use period containers.  No pets allowed, service animals only.
