The Shire of Tir Medoin invites you to attend *Quest for the Round
Table IV*, February
26-28, 2010.

Remember the days of the legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round
Table? Quests were undertaken to recover priceless treasures, to rid evil
and rescue noble ladies in distress. Knights of renown battled for Honor
and Chivalry. Courtesy was the theme of the Court. Join us in the Quest to
relive those glorious legends.

If you decide to vie for a place in our Chivalric Tournament, you have the
challenge of demonstrating those virtues of Chivalry we hold close to all of
our hearts. During the day, we invite all Ladies to be seated at the Ladies
Gallery to shower their tokens of favor upon the entrants of the Lists.

The Tournament is only part of the Quest. Favors will be given out, the
color of which indicates a point system. At the end of the day, the points
for Shire Service, Populace Service, Knightly Virtues, and Combat victories
will be tallied and Prizes given for the top six contestants. Our Knight’s
Council and Ladies Gallery will then choose who will personify Sir Lancelot,
Sir Galahad, Sir Gawain, Sir Percevale, Sir Gareth, and Sir Kay. Those
chosen will be gifted with a Prize worthy of a Knight of the Round Table.

Additional activities will include a Brewing competition, an Arts & Sciences
display for Beginners & Novices, a Youth Quest, and a Target Archery
competition. In the evening, join us for an evening of Bardic and Dance as
we revel into the night.
