Here's my understanding of this.

1) This is one of the perks of being a Barony. The perpetual events      
   automatically appear on the kingdom calendar. You don't have to send  
   in a bid sheet with alternate dates, etc, in fact, the seneschal      
   doesn't have to *do* anything for this event to appear on the         
   calendar.

2) Any other event *MUST* have a bid sheet sent to the kingdom seneschal 
   who then decides, based on the suggested three dates, exactly where   
   on the kingdom calendar that event will appear.

3) The *only* events that are "protected" from multiple events per       
   weekend are Crown Tourney and Coronation. If the Baronial events were 
   also "protected" that would be a total of about 21 weekends gone,     
   leaving only about 7 months for *all* the rest of the events.
