This is your problem. You'll never get to it again without changes to
the news *server*.

The IP address you connect from at school, is not the same one you use
at home, and shouldn't be. This new address, or the system name, has to
be entered into the news server's configuration in order to be allowed.

Contact news@{your.nntp.server.name) to get it fixed.
