This is an excellent idea and I wish more autocrats would take advantage
of this. I am trying to get the info on here for Midsummer's Faire VIII
being held June 5-7 at the West Montgomery County Park 2.5 miles north of
Montgomery on Fm149. I do not have a copy of the event announcement to
get more detailed info. I just know about it because my branch is the
host. If anyone has a Black Star or other newsletter with it, please send
me the info and I will do the write-up on it.

Excellent point, my main beef ( a couple years ago) with the info for the
SCA demo at the Texas Renaissance Festival was that there wasn't enough
info passed out via newsletters and announcements at populous meetings.

Another great point, Pug. Right now, I cannot spare the $45+ it costs
to get us memberships. This JUNO E-mail costs me nothing. As for
Raven/Sandy's comment about not being on the Internet, I usually say
thing same thing thought "technically" I have internet E-mail, I can't
surf the web, visit websites/home pages, etc. I cannot receive files via
E-mail attachments either. Again, I cannot spare the money to sign up
for that l evel of services. (Anyone who would like to donate money
towards either my membership or ISP can give it to me at Midsummers
Faire)
