Being totally serious for a minute:

On the topice of the SCA being what you make it, I would STRONGLY urge folk
to pay a membership.  This is a personal pet peeve of mine.  I have been
involved in way too many discussions lately with people who have BIG
opinions, but haven't the sense of right to become a member of said
organization. ( I am a state officer in another organization also, so this
isn't just us)  I feel the same way here that I do about people who gripe
about the government but don't vote.   Pay a membership people!   And
encourage others to do so!
