HL Anya's Post can be viewed in several ways. A few follow:

It can be a reminder of the profound effect that our words and behavior can
have, even indirectly, on others.
It can be a reminder to all of us to strive to be polite to one another.
It can be a reminder to Peers and those "higher up" of the words gifted them at
their Vigils/ceremonies, involving the inferred/implied responsibilities that
membership in their orders convey.

However...it is also a cry from a person who has been overcome with
disillusionment over of an incident where some fallible human beings failed to
live up to her standards of what Peers or SCA members should be. I chose to
address this issue.

HL Anya sounds like a sensitive, compassionate person, and I hope that rather
than choosing to leave in response to a few people forgetting themselves, she
stays to promote the ideals that the SCA is founded upon.
