<chuckle> And then there's the other side of the coin. I've got a string of
awards that's about as long as my arm. One of them is a Court Barony, but
about the only time I wear my coronet is at Court or sometimes when I'm
serving feasts (long story).

On a couple of occasions I've had people come up to me and apologize
profusely for *not* having called me "Your Excellency" earlier in the day,
even though a) I hadn't been wearing the coronet and b) they'd only met me
that day, so they couldn't reasonably be expected to know *all* my various
awards.

My response was that I didn't worry too much about titles and such, and
that even if I did, I would have no right to be upset by someone who,
through honest ignorance, didn't acknowledge those titles when I wasn't
wearing the appropriate regalia.
