Since it was presumed I misunderstood the question I have publicly posted my answers; though since I origianly answered long (hence why it was sent privatly) to give a bit more insite I have cut out much of the explinations of the answers.

Subject: long answers toRe: [Ansteorra] Questions 7/18

As Kingdom Hospitaler I feel it only appropriate that I be one of the first
to answer these questions! :) Though I have to admit please keep in mind I
am answering these after working all night so if this isnt what you intended
for answers, or if they are to long and boring, just hit "delete" then hit
me at the next event! <grin> Since the answers are long I thought it best to
reply privatly so as not to bore the list and take up to much bandwidth.

1. What attracted you to the SCA?
I had always been interested in the middle ages and while dating a SCAdian
was introduced to the SCA. As they say... the rest is history (and yes... I
am still with that same gentleman who introduced me to the SCA... we even
got married at an SCA event!)

2. What is your perspective of what the SCA is to you?
The SCA is one of my ways to relax <rest of answer cut>

3. Where do you invest the most time and energy in the SCA (household, local
group, kingdom, specific activity)
Its a toss up depending on what the event is, whats happening on a Kingdom
level etc. <rest of answer cut>

4. How long before you started to take initiative in the SCA (applying for
an office, organizing an activity, etc.?)
About 6 months, <rest of answer cut>

5. Were there instances that could have "run you out of the SCA"..why did
they not...or why did you come back?
I have not encountered feeling "run out". I have encountered the feeling of
not being "part of a clique" and like all groups not everyone will see eye
to eye on everything.

6. How long before you burned out? Why did you burn out? Is there anything
anyone could have done to help keep you from "burning out"?
I have not reached a burn out point. <part of answer cut > The beauty of the SCA is
there are so many things to do that my delima isnt a burn out but a what to
do next to serve my Kingdom, my Shire, and my household.

7. What do you get out of the SCA?
<beginning of answer cut> I get to have a hobby that my family can enjoy
and that gives us something in common to bridge that notorious generation
gap.

8. If you have your AoA...how long did you get it after starting to
participate in the SCA?
I got my AoA 3 years after I began participating in the SCA. <rest of answer cut>

 > and last but not least...why do you think that people should join the
SCA and stay in it?
It is an acitivty that an individual or family can put in as must time,
monies and energies as they can afford. <rest of answer cut>
