[Ansteorra] a question for any potters...

I asked someone at Armadillo Clay in Austin, he says as long as it is stoneware or porcelain is should be fine.  What clay are you using and is there a reason you do not want to glaze it?  Maybe just glaze the inside?

Does the unglazed pottery leach out anything bad? Would the salt start to 
taste like pottery?
