Metal objects imbedded in candy is why some clinics are setup for drive-by X-Rays to check the
insides of the candy for safety.

I remember the best 'treat'- neighbors hooked up a soda machine for coke and sprite and gave
everyone a drink who came by their door. Since Ansteorran Halloween's are almost as warm as
Ansteorran summer, that cool drink was very welcome.

I remember my parents made us layout all our candy to review and anything inappropriate or opened
was tossed. Only homemade goods we were allowed to keep were those made by neighbors we knew.
These days, my sister is only allowed to take store-bought goodies to her son's classrooms at
elementary school, nothing homemade, for any of the social activities.
Cheers, Hillary
