Sir Jean Paul,

In my job as chirurgeon, I have run across many such fighters since 1997. They know who they are. These are all people I have personally watched and
harassed with water bottles & lectures in the past.

I think the reason there are less heat stroke injuries, is that more people bring their own water and more people are aware of the consequences of  too little water.
Also, those of us who are not fighters and who aid in the watering of the fighters, have learned to be pushy. No one intends to get dehydrated, but are distracted to their own purposes. For those we must be vigilant.

I'm sorry, but I've yet to meet such a person (wants to win so bad they
get
heat stroke). Could you introduce me to him/her? And for the record, there
have been no heat related marshallate "injuries" reported in the
kingdom
over the last two years. There have been fighters who've bowed out of a
fight, or withdrawn themselves due to the heat, but most of them were able
to recognize either by themselves, or through the words of their
friends/family that they needed to give themselves relief.
