[Ansteorra] Corporate Budget (WAS: Travel)

Thanks Rose someone else was nice enough to post a link to the budget in excel. What I can not figure out is why the legal fees went from $30,000 in 2009 to $265,000 in 2010. I would also be curious what the $184,000 in insurance goes to if everyone signs a waiver at events. Just curious is all and I plan to continue to pay my dues because I like being an archery marshal. I do wish there was an option for lower dues if you did not want the monthly new letter mailed to you.

A [very] rough view of what we spend:

Twenty thousand on Society Officer Expenses, mostly office and travel.


Seventy thousand on BoD expenses, mostly travel costs.


Over one million dollars on Corporate Office expenses, including salaries, stipends, payroll taxes, employee benefits, rent, utilities, telephone, office supplies, printing expenses, bank fees, corporate licensing, property tax, legal services, background checks, computer stuff, accounting, and insurance. The insurance is less than two hundred thousand of that million bucks.


^^This comment is in no way voicing an opinion on the value/necessity/validity/ect. of these expenses. Just passing on the info.
