[Ansteorra] Rose Tournament at Gulf Wars 2018

Greetings unto the Rapier community of the Known World.

I am really excited to be able to coordinate the Ansteorran Order of the
Rose Tourney on behalf of HRM Gwen for the Rapier community. Her Grace
Sonja Ryzaja has graciously offered to work with me and make this a great
tournament for all to enjoy. Since I will be busy with other duties now,
Her Grace Sonja will be the onsite coordinator for the Tournament.

ANSTEORRAN ORDER OF THE ROSE TOURNEY RULES: Fighters must be sponsored by a
Rose from any kingdom (Or any principality’s Rose equivalent) to compete.
Each Rose may sponsor up to two rapier fighters, no more than one of whom
may have a grant-level or above rapier award (e.g., WS, OGRE, MoD, etc.).
Fighters must be presented to the list by their sponsoring Rose or have a
written letter of introduction to check in between 8AM to 9AM on the
morning of the tournament (Friday, March 16th). Fighting will start as
close to 9AM as possible.

          ***New for this year***
In an effort to respect everyone’s time and keep to the War Schedule time
line, there is a DEADLINE for signing up for the tournament. The DEADLINE
for signing up for the tournament while onsite at Gulf War is 6PM on
THURSDAY (March 15th, 2018). The onsite signup sheet will be available on
the porch of TRH Ansteorra’s cabin. Fighters will NOT be able to sign up on
the morning of the tournament. Therefore all fighters are required to sign
up for the tournament by the day before (6PM Thursday) AND check in to the
list the morning (8AM – 9AM) of the tournament.
