An excellent question!!!

The points from documentation and construction will be added to the period tournament score. The exact number has not yet been determined but will be such that it may change the outcome of the tourney.

There will be one set of bonus points applied for having made your own equipment- specifically the bow/crossbow/arrows/bolts. If you have made the rest of your gear as well this may be considered for your score.

Another set of bonus points will be applied for documentation of your equipment- specifically your bow/crossbow/arrows/bolts but may be extended to the rest of your archery equipment.

As you may surmise- the best archer may not win if someone has built their own period gear and provides period documentation of it and can use it in an adequate if not outstanding way.

This competition is not as much about the score as it is about the period equipment and its use.

Are those actual points that will be applied towards the tourney score?

Do things like quivers, armguards, strings, etc. count?
Or just bow/crossbow/arrows/bolts?

Extra points for documentation and for having made your own equipment.
