Namron's fighter practice site, Reeve's Park in Norman, also allows
combat archery. I plan on building an IKCAC target and taking it out
there so we can at least get practice shooting with combat equipment in
armor. I'm not a combat archery marshal yet, so we can't do any actual
combat archery except for the regional practices. I hope to get
authorized as a CA marshal soon so we can have more regular CA
practice. I've had several people in the Barony express interest in
combat archery, and I would love to see it grow.

Also, what are the proper distances for safety lines for CA,
specifically for IKCAC? The SCA Missile Combat Rules state that:

Where missile combat is to take place, a readily identifiable boundary
for the combat
shall be established. The Marshal-in-Charge shall establish a safe
distance for the
spectators from the boundary as is appropriate to the scenario and
missiles used.

I thought about using the same distances as for target archery, but that
seems a bit extreme given the range on CA bows and the fact that the
equipment is non-lethal. This might be something that should be added
to the Target Archery Handbook.
