1.5" brass sink tail piece found at any home store. It's thin brass
just sharpen it up with some fine sandpaper and start using it like a
cookie cutter to cut out foam disks. Keep a UHMW cutting board under
your work so ya dont mess up yer work surface or dull yer cutter too
quickly. When the cutter does dull a few twists with the sandpaper and
you are sharp and ready to go again.
I typically punch out 6 or so foam disks and they just stack up inside
the tail piece. The I have a shaft with a UHMW core and I just sure it
as a plunger to push the disks out of the tail piece into a box and then
keep cutting.
